The shortage of skilled workforce in Europe is a growing concern for the region’s economic development. SMEs, which do not have the same resources as larger industrial companies, are particularly affected. Therefore, the main objective of the ELEVATE project is to promote individual solutions for SMEs to overcome the shortage of skilled labour by developing innovative approaches and tools. With this offer their development, integration and inclusion on a direct company/organisation level is fostered as well as diversity is seen and perceived as a clear potential for tackling the shortage of skilled workforce. This enables companies to identify and implement individual potential and customised action strategies to overcome the skills shortage on four levels.

- Identification of potentials for SMEs on four levels: Full-time employment; older employees; migration & diversity; upskilling
- Online tool: Potential scanner for SMEs to overcome the shortage of skilled labour
- Strategy workshop concept for SMEs to enable the development of customised action strategies
